All About You

What would it be like to have the world revolve around yourself?

If that were the case you could pick any doughnut you wanted and take just a bite or two and leave the rest. Just because you could.

Bola Bola Likes to Eat

She is totally picky, but man, what she does like (strawberries!) she can eat a ton of!

My eating habits get me in trouble sometimes, too, Maylee. It happens.

This girl and her style not only never ceases to amaze me, but totally gets more impressive by the day. I just smile as she changes outfits 100 times a day and comes out each time declaring that she is a princess. Yes, Mikayla, you are a princess. A very unique princess!

Memorial Day

Our Memorial Day came and went pretty quietly. I wasn't feeling great so Dustin took on the girls for me. I felt terrible that he had to do that on his day off, but boy was I ever grateful he was home! Mikayla came in after playing with him outside and declared, "My Dad is so fun!" Yes, he is pretty much the greatest.

As Dustin said, "This is when dads always mess everything up...by trying to take it to the next level."

Later that evening Mikayla kept mentioning her bum bum hurt. I wonder why?

11 Months

Maylee turned 11 months old on Sunday and I can hardly believe it. She is one feisty, mischievous girl and we love her to death for it!

Mom's Day

Mother's Day was a little different this year...

My Mom took Maren and I to Phoenix for our annual Mother's Day outing the weekend before and we had a blast shopping and eating away our lives.

I came home on Saturday afternoon to find this "breakfast in bed" made by Mikayla waiting at the front door for me...

Sunday was my cousin's mission farewell and Dustin's brother was calling at the same time so Dustin and I had to divide and conquer. He headed to St. David and I stayed in Tucson.

Sunday night we were all back home together again and it was awesome.

Mikayla keeps randomly coming up to me all and saying "HAPPY MAMA'S DAY, MOM!" and telling me how much she missed me. This morning Mikayla and I were snuggling in bed and I started to fall back asleep and I felt her little hand on my arm giving me and arm rub to help me fall asleep. Those are the moments when you remember what life's all about.

Mare Mare Graduated!

Maren graduated with her Masters in speech and language (I don't know the correct term, but speech therapy) last week. We're super proud of her! Uncle Jake got to hood her, which we thought was really cool.
