Hey there, little guy!
I think baby boy just might win the award for the most uncooperative baby ever when it comes to ultrasound pictures! We have spent a long time in the doctor's office for our ultrasound appointments trying to just get the mandatory shots. He is spine up and refuses to flip over, which makes it really hard to get a good ultrasound picture (add to that a new ultrasound tech and it's fun times!). All of our pictures have been terrible! Finally, last week (21 weeks) the ultrasound tech took pity on me as we were getting ready to leave and worked really hard to get a profile picture so we could at least see his face once. Baby boy must have realized his mom really wanted that picture for his scrapbook and we actually got a couple of shots. He complied just long enough to get them and it was all over again. We are in for some serious adventures with him, I'm sure! I'm glad we got the pictures we did because not only was it our last ultrasound, but he is too big to fit his whole body in the screen now!
You'll have to excuse the quality of these pictures. I just took pictures of the ultrasound pictures until we can get to a scanner. I'd like to say they'd be better quality if they'd been scanned, but really, his pictures just all look this great!

Cake Me Out!
Dustin and Mikayla set up an ice cream shop for us the other night. Mikayla decided on the name of "Cake Me Out" for their shop and orders came complete with a birthday candle and a fantastic rendition of the "Happy Birthday" song (that ended with AMEN!). Last night orders even came with the army guy of your choice. It's a truly one-of-a-kind shop!
Mischief
Maylee is always up to a little bit of t-r-o-u-b-l-e. Her face just screams mischief all the time. She climbs into things faster than you can blink (especially their swimming pool with her clothes on) and she's ready to start a little argument with her sister any chance she gets. There's always something in her mouth and she's always emptying out anything that was once full of goodness. She likes to "get into" life.
Growing Up!
I'm not sure when my little toddler turned into a little girl, but it sure seemed to have happened all of a sudden!
1980's flashback anyone?

Oh Boy!
Hello, world! I'm Baby Boy Hancock!
And yes, I am waving to you by my boy parts to show you it's really true!
We had our ultrasound yesterday and discovered we are having a very proud baby BOY! The ultrasound lasted an hour and a half and not once did we get a profile picture of him, but he flashed us over and over again, as if to remind us that he really is a boy and he is proud of it. I'm pretty sure he is going to be a rowdy one! The little guy would turn each time the ultrasound tech was about to get the shot she needed and he never once flipped the way she needed him to for all the shots they have to get. He had the hiccups on and off for a lot of the ultrasound. For a few seconds the tech paused at his face and we watched him getting several drinks. It was so cool to see his little mouth sucking already. The best part was when we were seeing his manliness once again and all of a sudden everything around him starting swirling. He was totally peeing! It was hilarious. There is no way he isn't going to keep us on our toes. We are so excited to have a little guy come join his sisters. We have a lot to learn about little boys though, as Mikayla confirmed when she saw the ultrasound picture above and asked why he was sticking his tongue out at her? It's going to be a fun ride!
