Miss Maylee Belle

Our little Maylee's personality has come alive in the past few weeks.  Most of the time she is content, just happy to be cruising around looking for something to stick in her mouth.  She's only fussy if she's hungry or tired or her sister is picking on her.  As long as someone is within viewing distance of her she's content to play by herself.  She has decided though, that if she is going to make her presence known in this world she's got to have some spunk!  Maylee has this budding attitude that I'm not quite sure what to think of!  When she wants to make a stink she sure does!  Somehow she makes her whole body go stiff with her arms pushed down at her sides and grunts loudly to let you know she is not happy.  Where Mikayla needs a lot of one-on-one attention, Maylee just needs to know she's not alone.  She adores other kids and is so ready to get up and go play with them!  I am still in love with her cheeks and her rolls.  You can't look at her and not smile. My Belle Belle is my sweet angel baby.  I love her to death.

Fashionista

Mikayla picks her own clothes these days and does her own hair most of the time.  As if you couldn't tell!
She is totally into shirts that have things on them, especially "sparkly letters".  She's convinced that she needs two shirts at all times to be modest and that the more skirts/pants/shorts she has on at a time makes her a princess.  It makes for a lot of laundry!  Of course, accessories are just icing on the cake.  The more the merrier!
This last picture is totally random, but I found it hilarious.  Mikayla came running in to find me this morning and brought me to her room to see this:
"Look Mom!  Lolo and Big Barbie and Dawn are bats!"

Princess Date

The girls and I got this surprise invitation in my email on Friday morning...
Of course, we couldn't say no to an invite like that and Mikayla spent all day Friday planning her outfit for our princess date.
All dressed and ready off to a "fancy" restaurant (Olive Garden).
Breadsticks!  Maylee ate almost 3 whole breadsticks by hereself.  She was definitely a fan!
Then, on to try on shoes and check out the toys at Target (with roses from Dad in hand!).
Mikayla picking which shoes were to be tried on next was a serious task!
(Please note we had to change out of our heels for function...clearly princesses don't usually wear flip flops)

A dream date for my little princesses!
