Maya Lou

Maya Lou Hancock finally made her arrival at 3:20 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016.  She was 8 pounds 14 ounces and 20.5 inches.  Throughout my pregnancy with her there were more than a few little "scares" and we were quite anxious for her to get here.  Labor was pretty uneventful and she came out crying and as beautiful as can be!  We kept joking that after all the stress she put us through during the pregnancy that she better be a good baby and she most definitely is!  She is so calm and sweet and we are completely smitten with her.  When she looks at you intently with her big blue eyes she completely captivates you and you can't help but fall in love more and more with her.  Maya was born with big puppy dog cheeks and a head full of dark brown hair, unlike all our other kiddos who were pretty much bald.  Her cuddles are the best in the world and I'm trying so hard to enjoy them as much as I can while she's little.  She is amazing!

September Picture Update

Life keeps rolling on and it seems like between getting ready for Uncle Bubba's wedding and a million doctor's appointments for baby sister that September just disappeared.  We are still loving it here and our kids seem to be liking it as well.  Mikayla declared that she wished she never even heard of Tucson because she loves St. David so much.  It's nice to see them enjoying being outside, going to school and coming home happy, and being so close to family.  We are so blessed!  Here are some pictures from over the last month or so.
Daxton "shopping".
All four of our babies!  Mikayla, Maylee and Daxton's pictures were taken when they were less than a day old and baby sister's ultrasound picture is from 34 weeks.  I think they all look a lot like each other.
Maylee said "I LOVE the way I am!"

Little Stud!
Maylee is our little bug fanatic.  She especially loves catching grasshoppers.
