Over the past month and a half or so I think we've only had one weekend at home, but it's been so good. We've had a lot of "perfect" days. Saturday we went to the Marm and it was another great family day-you know the kind where the world seems to disappear and the ones you love most are the only thing on your mind and you wish time could stand still? Yeah, it was one of those kinds of days.

Pond Party

Uncle Devon, Aunt DeeDee and Clay are moving away for school and Devon's parents were kind enough to throw a going away party for DeeDee and Devon at their pond. The kids had so much fun swimming and then we all enjoyed yummy BBQ for dinner. It was a short little trip, but we had a blast.

Daxton-isms

11-23-2018 When asked if he wanted to be a shepherd or a wiseman for the nativity he responded "I'm going to be a shark."
11-15-2018 Maylee to Mom-"How come you're fancy?" Daxton-"Because she's an old lady." Mikayla-"You're not considered an old lady until you have beehive hair like Grammy."
11-3-2018 Grandad said Nana didn't like fires and you said "How could anyone not like fires?!"

3-20-13 She saw an oil spot on the driveway and said, "UH OH Mom! Someone pee peed on the driveway!"
