This is the way Daxton rode most of the rides...licking any part of it he could. Hence the reason he ended up with a nasty cold on the trip. Mikayla threw up the night before we left and Maylee once on the trip, but somehow all the sickies didn't stop us from having a blast!
Mikayla was obsessed with the wishing well. Each time she would wish to be a fairy princess and was quite devastated when it didn't happen. Dustin explained that sometimes wishes take a while to come true, but she was still pretty upset. Each day she would wish multiple times to be a fairy princess. Luckily Snow White snuck into our house last night and left some fairy princess wings (although according to Mikayla they are pretend ones). In her note Snow White said it takes lots of practice and hard work to be a fairy princess!
The girls have a pretty awesome Dad and on our early admission day he snuck into the Frozen meet and greet ticket line and got them tickets to meet Anna and Elsa!
Thunder Mountain Railroad for Grandad!
Daxton was in love with Eeyore!
I had to include this picture of when Dustin and I rode Splash Mountain. I totally didn't notice the other couple in the picture until later and it gave us all a good laugh...which was needed since Mom's phone got wet and ruined on the ride.
We were told we had to try Dole Whips by the Tiki Room and they were awesome! Daxton's favorite thing the whole trip seemed to be the Tiki room. He went nuts during the show! The whole time he was squawking right along with all the birds and flapping his arms like crazy. It was hilarious!
That evening we headed over to California Adventure and saw the Pixar Parade. We loved it!
Daxton would literally be handed over to my Dad and would instantly fall asleep. We need him around more often!
I went to get Fast Pass tickets for the Grizzly River Run and out popped World of Color tickets. It was a great accident! We had an awesome spot to see everything and the show was out of this world. Some friends had told us about these Mickey ears that had lights to go along with the show. For some reason, Mikayla had it in her head that she just HAD to have one of those hats. Dustin ran and got some and of course, Mikayla wasn't interested in them much because she was too tired to function and fell asleep in the show. Hopefully one day these kids realize that their Dad is pretty amazing and would do anything for them...including buying and wearing silly Mickey ears to make their Disneyland trip magical!
It only took a couple minutes for the lights on the hat to put Maylee to sleep before the show even started!
