March

March brought Spring Break and Dustin took the week off from work. It was HEAVENLY! We had to sell the kids' playset when we moved and we promised we'd get a new one with the money from selling it when we bought a house. They opted for a playhouse instead of another playset so over Spring Break Dustin worked hard on building this awesome house for them.

When Dad babysits in the middle of a project...

Maylee started a preschool run by the high schoolers and seems to like it.

"Daxton take me to the mailbox!" And so he did.

Daxton woke up one morning and declared he was ready for undies so we stopped everything and went to get undies. He's done great!

Dustin and I celebrated birthdays!

Playing in the ditch and the mud has commenced!

I pulled out some of Dustin's old clothes and Daxton has been having fun matching his Dad when he was a kid.

Maya went through about a two month period where she would only cat nap for like 15 minutes several times a day. She refused to fall asleep when I tried to lay her down, but I would find her randomly sleeping on the floor amidst all the chaos.

Daxton found Dustin's old grand champion chicken belt buckle and insisted on wearing it so Dustin rigged up this belt for him and he wears it often. And is very proud of it!

Our big news for February is we bought a house!!! We were saving a ton of money living in the basement and house sitting, but it was taking a toll on our family. While we were hoping to not move until the Fall, a house fell into our laps and we knew we had to jump on it. The market here is crazy and homes go pretty fast if they are decent and so we grabbed this one as soon as we could. Moving with a lot of kids is a TON of work, but we all love it here and are happy to have a place we can call home again.
