Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving was with the Hancock family this year and we had a blast.  We have so much to be grateful for, but most especially our wonderful families.

Thanksgiving Day

The Hancock tradition is to make biscuits and gravy in the dutch oven and they were super yummy this year!
Me 36 weeks pregnant with baby boy and DeeDee 29 weeks pregnant with her baby boy!

My favorite part of being with family is watching Mikayla play with all her cousins.  The boys are so patient with her and she comes alive around all of them.

After breakfast all the men went to the high school to play football and the girls went to cheer them on.

Then off to make dinner!
Deep pit turkey-yummy!

The highlight of the weekend for the kids was this truck that Mammy and Pappy had.  It wasn't working at all for a couple days, then of a sudden they must have pushed it enough to jump start it or something because it started going randomly and they were in heaven.  It was sporadic as to when it would work and everyone thought Ethan had a magic foot because his foot was on the pedal the first time it drove so when it wouldn't work they'd find Ethan to work his magic.

A fire to sit by and pie to end a great day!

Christmas with the Hancock family was on Friday.  We were all spoiled rotten by Mammy and Pappy!
Dustin got a water balloon launcher from Steven and it was a hit!
And so was his Flickin' Chicken game!

Saturday
Garth loved running and jumping into the truck.  I'm not sure why anyone trusted their children with my daughter driving.  She was TERRIBLE!  I think everyone was safer before it started running!  Mikayla wouldn't even pay attention to where she was going and it was scary!
