Powder dirt is the kids' favorite thing and my cleaning nemesis!
Poor Maya got bronchitis again and was so sick for quite a while. We ended up having to do breathing treatments on her for about 6 weeks. Through it all she was still her happy go-lucky self. She is such a good baby!
When your kids ask to put on make-up and they walk out looking like this...
Mikayla asked to wear her hair in a side pony and wanted to wear my old dress for picture day. It was a total 90's flashback! It turned out it was just retakes that day and she didn't even get her picture taken. She said at first she was a little embarrassed she was all dressed up for nothing, but then she said she realized she wears fancier things than that every day so no one would even know the difference!
My morning walking buddies! We get lots of comments about our get-up, but it works!
Dustin makes breakfast a lot for us on Sunday mornings. He's a keeper!
Maya turned 6 months old!
We picked up Mikayla from school one day and her face looked like this. My eyes filled with tears because I was so grateful and happy. Her face was dirty from building fairy houses with her friends at recess. Having friends and playing like a kid were things I wasn't sure she would ever have/do in Tucson. She is SO much happier now!
My Mom surprised us and took us on a last minute overnight stay at a hotel in Sierra Vista while the boys were at their fathers and sons outing. It was so perfect. We all needed a little vacation so badly!
Daxton and Maylee love to go irrigate at the Marm with Grandad.
A rare sight! Grandma Kartchner going for a Ranger ride!
