Celebrating Gramma Lambson's Life

Dustin's Great Gramma Lambson passed away May 29 and her funeral was last Saturday. It was a wonderful weekend spent with family and many memories were made as we were able to celebrate a wonderful lady's life.

Going to the "Tempo"

We got to go with my parents to the temple this past weekend for a friend's sealing. Mikayla decided to pack purses filled with treasures as temple bags for everyone and this picture is of us with all our goods (we were each told how we were to hold/wear our purses, as well). Bless Maren's heart for watching our kids for a full day as my birthday present. One of the greatest presents ever!

Marmage

The kids and I took a day trip to the Marm last week that turned into a sleepover. We all had a blast, as usual. We got lucky and enjoyed a break from the heat with a cloudy day and 80 degree weather. All of the kids played outside for 5 hours straight and it was wonderful. The Marm is so pretty and green right now. A little piece of paradise.

Mikayla said she put on her "cowgirl costume" (boots and a hat with a sparkly shirt) so she could work at the Marm.

Margaret

Some people we know were moving and looking for a new home for their salcata tortoise, Margaret. We jumped at the chance as we've been looking for one and love having Margaret around. Mikayla has a hard time remembering her name and calls her "Pohgret" often and that name just might stick.

Life as we know it.

Here's the past week and a half. I always think it feels like we don't ever do much, then I look at pictures and realize we do more than I think!

Tractor Supply opened and it was a monumental occasion for Mikayla, who loves going there with Grandad in Benson. She's been watching the construction and asking when it was going to open for months.

Daxton's first swim. He loved it and never stopped kicking.

We made cupcakes and Maylee gave Daxton batter. He loved it. Then the girls had to fight and got the bowl taken away. Tragedy.

Maylee is super into baby dolls and dressing herself. Her favorite baby is Jocelyn, my prized doll all growing up.

Starting solids.

Mikayla is growing leaps and bounds in bravery and confidence. It's amazing. She camped out in the playset all by herself last weekend and actually slept there all night!

Undies only for the kiddos after church (Who am I kidding? They hate wearing clothes any time!).

Fall 2014 When she would come tattle about something Mikayla was doing I'd tell her to "nicely ask Sissy to stop." She would go to Mikayla and say "Nicely STOP!"
