Halloween Tree

Dustin could tell I needed a break when he got home yesterday so he took the girls outside for a bit.  We were planning on putting Halloween lights on our tree out front for FHE and Mikayla declared that we needed pumpkin ornaments to go with the lights.  They got to work and got it done!
Grandad and Nana came over later for FHE and we watched the beautiful sunset before getting to work on decorating our tree.  Mikayla was the boss of the operation and was obsessed with "layers" for some reason.  She kept insisting the pumpkins on the tree needed layered just right and informed the boys that she wasn't so sure about the lights.  It was awesome.  Totally reminded me of hanging pictures with the boys.  She's training 'em young!
Someone was very proud of the pumpkins she drew for her Dad to cut out and of course, the layering...
The night ended with stories in bed with Nana.
