Dustin and I went on our first date to Olive Garden 7 years ago August 22. Each year since we've gone to Olive Garden on the same day (or as close to it as possible). This year we had to postpone due to sick kids and then we decided to take them along for another princess date since we had a kids eat free coupon. Dinner was a hit.
Afterward we decided to walk to the pet store and check out the animals. As soon as we started walking Mikayla asks if we could go to the make-up store instead? Seriously? We didn't even know there was a make-up store around, but sure enough, there was Ulta across the parking lot. I've never even been to it, let alone take her. Still don't know how she knew that's what it was. We made her over with the most obnoxious make-up we could find and she thought it was wonderful.
Then on to the pet store.
